Only 20 editions will be released. The Deluxe Edition is the most exceptional version of the book, where the art of publishing meets the art of Vietnamese lacquer and printmaking.
Each edition is housed in a handcrafted lacquer box, meticulously finished by Vietnamese lacquer artists. Inside are two prints by Yuroz: one preserving the original print in its pure form, and the other hand-colored and entirely finished by Yuroz himself.
The layers of color are created through the artist’s emotion, intuition, and improvisation, transforming the print into a dialogue between two generations, two cultures, and two visual languages. Through this process, Yuroz’s admiration for Nguyễn Gia Trí is transformed into an original work bearing his own artistic imprint.
